Visitors to Mauritius are guaranteed plentiful sunshine, spectacular beaches, excellent cuisine and eclectic souvenirs.  Exploring the island, we find colorful textiles, bamboo crafts, ceramics and wood art.  The Dodo, an extinct flightless bird, is the national animal of Mauritius.  The Dodo is celebrated in many different art forms, including hand-made crafts.  Our featured wooden dodo sculptures are painted with pretty motifs and bright colors.  Set: 1 pink dodo (height 6 1/2 inches, width 7 1/2 inches), 1 blue dodo (height 4 1/2 inches, width 5 1/2 inches).
