Scenic Port of Arcachon, Set Along a Sheltered Bay

Bordeaux is a beautiful region in the southwestern part of France.  Historic wine producing estates and vast vineyards are spread across the region’s hillsides and valleys.  The expansive coastline encompasses tranquil bays, seaside towns and thriving oyster farms.  Arcachon, a seaside town situated along the Bay of Biscay, has stunning beaches and the scenic Port d’Arcachon.  A collection of sailboats, fishing boats and traditional wooden boats are anchored in the port.  The Arcachon Seafront Promenade, connecting the port and the beach, offers a picture-perfect scenery.
