Hand-Woven Crafts, Kuwait; Woven Pillow Case and Decorative Handbag

In the Arabian Peninsula, the traditional art of weaving and embroidery is passed down from generation to generation.  The Bedouin women use natural textile fibers to create beautiful hand-woven carpets, pillow cases, handbags and decorative items for their camels.  In Kuwait City, the Sadu House preserves the ancient weaving techniques through the collaboration with local weavers.  Our featured hand-woven products have original patterns, a thick texture and bright colors.  Set: 1 hand-woven pillow case (height 24 1/2 inches, width 17 inches), 1 hand-woven handbag (height 7 1/2 inches or 6 3/4 inches).
