Decorative Trays, India; Adorned with a Beautiful Flower Motif

India is a country of astounding landscapes and ethnic communities that incorporate their traditions into all forms of art.  Skilled artisans create, decorate and embellish beautiful artworks.  The papier-mâché, introduced to India in the 14th century, is a fascinating form of art that is practiced across Central Asia.  The artisans use uniquely crafted paper pulp, to make beautiful objects, showcasing original patterns, colors and styles.
