
There are many awe-inspiring places in the Pacific Northwest. The Skagit Valley and the town of La Conner are known for their scenic landscapes and panoramic views of the river and the mountains. The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, held every year in April, exhibits expansive fields of blooming daffodils and multi-colored tulips. Dutch immigrants originally planted the tulips across the valley. Nowadays, Skagit Valley is a popular springtime destination to admire the rows of blooming tulips and daffodils. The following farms have beautiful tulip fields and garden displays: RoozenGaarde, Tulip Town, Tulip Valley Farms and Garden Rosalyn. During our visit, we encounter beautiful dogs sitting in the yellow tulip fields.


La Conner is a picturesque town in the Skagit County in the Pacific Northwest. The Skagit Valley and Fidalgo Island are popular tourist attractions in Washington State. La Conner is situated along the Swinomish Channel and connected to Fidalgo Island by the Rainbow Bridge. Fidalgo Island is the location of the Swinomish Indian Reservation. The Kukutali Preserve, co-managed by Washinton State Parks and the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community, has hiking trails and a scenic coastline. La Conner and the Skagit Valley have many visitors, enjoying countryside landscapes, mountain views, the scenic Skagit River and vibrant tulip fields.
RoozenGaarde comprises over 50 acres of tulip fields and gardens. There are over 200 varieties of tulips and daffodils planted across acres of land. RoozenGaarde has stunning gardens that feature a wide variety of tulips surrounded by bushes and trees. The garden pathways run along the rows of tulip plants, including multi-colored, classic-shaped and unique species of tulips. Several varieties of daffodils are planted in the fields, showing shades of yellow, white and orange. Pathways along the tulip fields show brightly colored tulips, surrounded by the peaceful and picturesque countryside.
In the spring, the Skagit Valley is filled with lots of color. Blooming daffodils beautify the landscape toward the end of March. In April, the Skagit Valley boasts exceptional scenery of blooming tulip fields. Tulip Town, founded by Dutch immigrants, is an expansive farmland that cultivates diverse species of daffodils and tulips. This dog-friendly farm attracts many visitors. Scenic pathways overlook fields of blooming tulips and mountainous scenery in the distance.
Tulip Valley Farm covers 30 acres of beautiful farmland. A visit to the farm reveals rows of diverse tulips planted between rows of hazelnut trees. We admire the peaceful landscape and the beautiful views of Mount Baker in the distance. Visitors to Tulip Valley Farm explore the fields and cut tulips cultivated in the fields (for a fee) and take home beautiful tulip bouquets.
