Anchored Cruises in Greenland

Greenland, situated in the North Atlantic Ocean, is a constituent territory within the Kingdom of Denmark. It is a mysterious Arctic destination, defined by spectacular icebergs, mountain peaks, and expansive tundra landscapes. The cruise ships anchor offshore near the Ilulissat Harbour, located on the western coast of Greenland. We take Zodiac boats to Ilulissat Harbor, then transfer to the starting point of the hike to Ilulissat Icefjord. The Ilulissat Icefjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, boasts a stunning landscape of floating ice sculptures and turquoise meltwater pools. After rejoining our vessel, we observe anchored cruises in Arctic waters.
